innacitycommunity is a multi-disciplinary art collective consisting of:

Mogomotsi ‘Pabulum’ Gae [DJ]

Rangoato ‘Ra’ Hlasane [Visual Artist]

Malose ‘4matt’ Malahlela [Emcee] and

Kagiso ‘K*Blaqque’ Mnisi [Writer]

Based at the historic Drill Hall, downtown Jozi, innacity co-founded the keleketla!library with Cape Town based writer and academic Bettina Malcomess in January 08 under the facilitation of the Joubert Park Project and support from the National Arts Council.

innacitycommunity hopes to:

• Create platforms for arts and cultural development through events, happenings, workshops and ‘conversations’

• Build capacity by fostering a culture of creative collaborations

• Innovate cultural production through interactive experimentation and play

• Encourage collective growth by exploring non-monetary ‘exchange’ as currency

innacitycommunity has worked with a number of Jozi movements and collectives over a variety of projects…
